The primary purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This program offers a choice of First Aid, CPR, and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience

COURSE LENGTH
INSTRUCTOR LED: 1 -5 HOURS
BLENDED LEARNING: 2 -3 HOURS S ONLINE; 2 HOURS IN PERSON

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
COURSE MATERIALS
TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THE CPR / AED & FIRST COURSE (FACPRAED), CANDIDATE MUST:
Attend and actively participate in all course sessions.
Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
Demonstrate competency in leading a team response during the team response testing scenarios.
Successfully pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 84%.
